Welcome to the ocha cluster! We look forward to seeing lots of great research happening on the cluster over the next many years.
Some of you may be wondering about the cluster’s name. What does it mean and where did it come from?
Ocha (お茶) is Japanese for “green tea”. As PI on the grant, Megan decided that she would name the cluster after one of her favorite things, as the co-PIs did not have any strong feelings on the matter. Conveniently it’s an easy to pronounce name, and makes a short URL. Stop by her office sometime if you have cluster questions, and to enjoy a steaming mug of genmaicha or dragon green tea.
